Brother Almeida Manuel Almeida is the main character of a famous legend from Quito. He was a franciscan brother who'd often escape from the convent to attend parties and go drinking. He'd run away by climbing behind the altarpiece, and the legend says the Christ in the altarpiece would come to life and ask him, "for how long, father Almeida?", and he'd reply, "until I come back, Lord!".

Unfortunately I couldn't include the father Almeida legend in the Guerra Santa storyline, but I'm planning on writing a comic where I can deeply explore this legend.

Replies @winzrella: Yeah, I am very fond of this legend and really wanted to include it in this comic. Don't worry! I'll definitely write a comic about it, and I'll let you know so you can read it! :)

Neat! You are using a legend for inspiration in this!
If you ever get the comic done more closely about his story that would be great and I would definitely read it :D
